Bible Study & PrayerWe meet each Thursday evening for Bible Study at various locations and each Thursday morning at 7:45am for prayer. Mid Week Events Network - Our ladies night is held on alternate Mondays. A practical opportunity to acquire knowledge or skills, ranging from calligraphy, to catering. Newcomers are welcome. Coffee Morning Each Friday from 10:00 throughout the summer. As our church premises are at the bottom of the main street, it makes an ideal place to rest your feet after a mornings shopping. Alpha Course We run an Alpha course for those who are interested to find out a bit more about God and Christianity. If you live on the Island and want to know more please let us know. The course is in a friendly atmosphere, where each week we watch a video by Rev Nicky Gumble, from Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, London. It is highly recommended, and a very easy way to hear about faith in a relaxed non-threatening environment. Special EventsIn addition to the regular events, we join the other Christian churches on the Island for services at Easter, Christmas, Alderney Week (Alderney's annual carnival in August), Remembrance Day, and others.
We also have various social events throughout the year, but you will have to be here to hear about them! Bookstall & Library We have a small bookstall stocked with a range of Christian books and greeting cards. We also have a free lending library, with books to borrow. This is open all day, every day, at the back of the church. |
